Account mappings

Recommendation: separate Import and Export views for everyday maintenance. Keep Both for checking the two directions together.

Fast mapping

  • Click a mapped value, search fields, and select a replacement.
  • Use the same field, text, or formula picker in either direction.
  • Keep conditions visible while editing operands; expand nested outputs beneath Then or Otherwise.
  • Show short formula summaries in the row.

Formulas

  • Build text from field tokens and editable text in one line.
  • Use If / Then / Otherwise, visible All (AND) / Any (OR), and optional Else if branches.
  • Put text composition or another formula inside any branch.
  • Support first available value, value translations, and raw JSONata.
  • Show a sample result while editing; keep errors beside the expression.
  • Edits update the local configuration immediately. Collapse keeps changes; Revert row restores its opening value.

Source and sync

  • Choose the Salesforce object, including a compatible custom object.
  • Offer saved lists only when the connector supports them.
  • Use “Automatic updates” for incremental sync, with On, Paused, or Needs attention.
  • Apply configuration changes together; start the initial import separately.

Halosight fields and AI

  • Create additional Halosight fields from Import, with a name, type, and source.
  • Make existing custom fields available as export inputs.
  • Let AI propose a mapping or formula beside the affected row.
  • Accept or reject suggestions; preserve later manual edits.

Preview and apply

  • Show source values and mapped results, with a choice of example.
  • Keep before/after comparisons in Review.
  • Review both directions and custom fields together, then Apply once.

This prototype

  • Includes Accounts maintenance and text, condition, and export components; the condition example starts with two AND clauses.
  • Uses synthetic examples, simulated AI suggestions, and local Apply. Reload resets the example.
  • JSONata evaluates real expressions. This is a behavioral prototype, not the Membrane UI SDK; production integration still needs implementation and validation.
  • Other Membrane helpers, including record lookups and date functions, remain possible additions.
